From adults...

"I've got a greenhouse, but I never use it. I've decided to try and grow more vegetables at home."

"Our church has done an energy audit and we've decided to do more about turning off lights and not wasting heat by leaving the door open."

"How do we know if all these dire warnings are correct anyway?"

"Ecology should be the FIRST mark of mission!"

"What was inspiring was thinking about these things in a group and getting everyone else's ideas for little changes that could add up."

Hopefully, looking through what you've written as you've explored the spaces in the house has allowed you to engage with the fifth mark of mission in a variety of ways. But the journey never ends and there is still more for you to see and do before you leave this topic of mission and ecology. Are there things missing from your notes? Are there places you would like to revisit, or have you got enough to equip you further in your spiritual journey? Have you got what you need to progress?
